🔒 AI hired? That could be a reality at 60% of companies

Almost 6 out of 10 companies plan to “hire” AI as an active team member within a year. In the last two years, the number of implementations has increased fivefold. However, rapid deployments bring “surprises”…

According to the Capgemini Research Institute (“Harnessing the value of AI: Unlocking scalable advantage”), 88% of companies increased their spending on GenAI by an average of 9% last year. On average, 12% of the IT budget is now exclusively reserved for this category, while 61% of companies declare they’ll continue to increase their investments.

The report shows a fivefold increase in the adoption of GenAI over two years (from 6% in 2023 to 30% of companies scaling solutions today), with nearly 6 out of 10 organizations planning for AI to become an active team member within the next 12 months, including as a supervisor for other AI systems.
