🔒 New Polish language model: PLLuM
PLLuM has been unveiled! As a result of the work by a scientific consortium on a project funded by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, a fully native LLM has been developed with the mission to support officials, businesses and citizens in the AI revolution.
On February 24, 2025, a conference was held at the Ministry of Digital Affairs where the family of Polish language models, PLLuM (Polish Large Language Model), was officially presented. The conference marked the culmination of the first phase of a project developed by a consortium of six scientific institutions, led by the Wrocław University of Technology under the auspices of the government (with a budget of 14.5 million zlotys). The goal was to build comprehensive Polish LLMs in order to support public administration and academic communities in the digitization process, as well as Polish business in terms of innovation.
