First, there were video lessons. Then came apps, quizzes and other interactive features. Recently, AI tools have joined the mix, capable of translating, summarizing and organizing knowledge practically on the fly. That has indeed solved one important problem: today, knowledge is widely available and largely free.
However, a tougher question has been raised: what needs to happen for someone not only to watch another piece of content, but to truly engage in the learning process, retain the context, practice applying it and build a skill they will then use beyond the course itself?
