From technical drawings to the first 3D models
The first steps towards computer 3D graphics were taken in the 1950s and 60s. In 1963, Ivan Sutherland created Sketchpad—the first program for interactive drawing that allowed to create simple solids. This was a true milestone in the development of computer graphics.
