After two days of testing the OpenAI Agent Builder, I have one impression: it’s not a tool for automation, but more like a sandbox to showcase the capabilities of the GPT model created by OpenAI.

At first glance, the builder looks like n8n, Make, or the industry veteran Zapier, but as soon as you try to build something more serious, it turns out there are quite a few limitations under the hood. Keep that in mind before you start building your first agent.
