We are told, “You have to learn throughout your entire life!” We’re bombarded from all sides with mantras like “lifelong learning or death.” There’s a gentler version too, “those who don’t develop, regress.” But you know what? There’s a problem. When we have to do something, we usually don’t want to. Instead of curiosity, discouragement sets in — instead of energy, procrastination awakens and we grow to dislike the subject before we even try to understand it. Add to that the baggage of not-so-positive experiences from school, which don’t help us like the learning process in adult life, and a learning bogeyman starts to take root in us. But does it have to be this way? Is there no hope for those of us who have been wasting time on ineffective learning for years?
What if AI could become our “curiosity driver”, our “simplifier”, partner and ally on this path?
