A new assistant that sees what you see
Claude for Chrome has access to the active page view — it can read its content, recognize buttons, text fields and forms, and then perform actions based on your instructions. This tool is designed with daily automation in mind — it can automatically fill out online documents, transfer data between tabs, manage your Google Calendar, search your Gmail inbox or copy data from a report to a spreadsheet. You can assign it specific tasks, like “transcribe data from this email to a form” or “set up a meeting for tomorrow.” This approach allows you to automate repetitive tasks, making Claude an assistant that knows where to click, what to highlight and how to simplify your day.
