Anthropic releases Claude Opus 4.1 — an update to its flagship model that significantly improves coding quality and search precision.
Claude Opus 4.1 is an upgraded version of the Opus 4 model, available from today for paid users in Claude Code, Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud Vertex AI. The price remains unchanged, and the performance differences are — as Anthropic assures — clearly noticeable.
The new version reaches 74.5% on the SWE-bench Verified benchmark. This represents a significant improvement in coding capabilities and is the highest score in the history of Anthropic models, surpassing both Opus 4 (72.5%) and Sonnet 3.7 (62.3%).
